BirdsEye

BirdsEye

In March 2025, I published a report on AI in commercial real estate, which sparked conversations with portfolio owners across the US. Many were eager to explore AI but consistently pointed to the same bottleneck: their existing property management systems were clunky and blind to real operational issues.

That led me to partner up with an owner based in Philadelphia, and start building BirdsEye — the first property management system powered by AI agents. The name reflects both my obsession with geospatial data and my belief that every operator should have a true “bird’s eye” view of their portfolio.

The grand vision is simple: to make buildings conversational. Imagine asking your portfolio, “Who hasn’t paid rent this month?” or asking a single property, “How are you feeling?” and getting an answer that reflects its financial health, occupancy, and maintenance needs.
